MUJI Hotel Ginza Is Opening in Tokyo Next Month — Take a Look Inside
The minimalist hotel is now accepting reservations.
Following the launch of its Shenzhen and Beijing branches in 2018, MUJI Hotel is slated to open its third location in the brand’s hometown Japan this April. Located in the stylish Ginza area in Tokyo, the lifestyle brand’s latest property has begun taking reservations on March 20 on its official website.
Housing 79 thoughtfully designed and decorated rooms, MUJI Hotel Ginza features an understated, minimalist aesthetic that the brand is well-known and loved for, with wood being one of the key elements of the building. Keeping sustainability in mind, the hotel has employed recycled materials throughout for its construction. As expected, each guest room is furnished with MUJI’s own furniture pieces and accessories.
In addition to offering travelers a restful stay, the hotel doubles as a design and cultural space, boasting two art galleries, a library as well as lounge and salon. Visitors can also expect to find the brand’s eatery, the MUJI Diner, as well as its global flagship store Atelier MUJI Ginza within the hotel.
MUJI Hotel Ginza will open doors on April 4. From the compact “Type A” layout to the spacious “Type I” suite, there are altogether nine different variations of rooms inside MUJI Hotel Ginza.
