Matthew Williams Shares a Sneak Peek at New ALYX x Moncler Genius Collab
The designer previews the next collection on Instagram.
Back in February during Milan Fashion Week, Moncler debuted its newest designs from its Moncler Genius initiative. The show was filled with an array of collaborations, one of the partnerships that has been on our radar from the show included pieces by 1017 ALYX 9SM.
Recently, ALYX’s creative director, Matthew Williams took to Instagram to share a sneak peek at outerwear designs from the next collaboration between his brand and Moncler.
In the images and video Williams posted, the caption reads:
“Just received Garment dye trails for the next @alyxstudio @moncler collection. Starting all the material testing now.”
The colors appear in vivid shades of blue and dark blue. The material used also can be described as a bit movable since the designer pushes his hand down on the pieces. The teasers could point to these dye trails being used as the base material for outerwear.
