Rihanna Is Officially Launching a Fashion Label Under LVMH
Introducing Fenty.
After months of rumors and speculations surrounding Rihanna‘s business ventures in both beauty and fashion, LVMH has just confirmed that they will be going into business with Rihanna under the Fenty banner. The two collaborators have announced that the new luxury maison will be based in Paris, and will center around Rihanna and will be created from her vision.
The upcoming label will be producing ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories, with the official press release reporting that the collection will debut for Spring 2019 retailing. “Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader. She naturally finds her full place within LVMH. To support Rihanna to start up the Fenty Maison, we have built a talented and multicultural team supported by the group resources. I am proud that LVMH is leading this venture and wish it will be a great success,” said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at LVMH Bernard Arnault about the new luxury fashion house.
There’s yet no official information as to when we can expect the first collection to release, but make sure to watch this space as any more updates surface. As for now, www.fenty.com is open for fans to sign up for updates as well as an Instagram account, boasting the new maison’s logo.
