BANKS Releases Hypnotizing Music Video for "Gimme" — Watch It Here

Having recently shared an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the filming of her “Gimme” music video with HYPEBAE, BANKS now officially lifts the lid on the hypnotizing visual. A release that came two years after her last single “Underdog,” the singer-songwriter’s electrifying new track has already exceeded 6 million global streams since it first dropped late last month — it immediately became one of our favorite songs on our April playlist as well.
Directed by Matty Peacock, who has previously worked with the likes of Billie Eilish and Halsey, the video captures some sort of “primal transformation” and sees BANKS dancing in the dark, with dreamy imagery fading in and out and laser light flickering in the background. In a press release, it is revealed that BANKS also serves as creative director and co-editor of the visual.

BANKS is slated to perform at House of Vans in Chicago come July 11. Following the performance, she will be hitting the stages at Music Midtown 2019 in Atlanta and Life is Beautiful Festival 2019 in Las Vegas this September. Fans can also catch BANKS at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in October.
