This Nike Air Force 1 Actually Glows Under UV Light

A preview from Nike’s House of Innovation in Shanghai.

Nike is known for its commitment to innovation and its classic trainers are no exception to new tech. Showcased at the brand’s House of Innovation in Shanghai, jeffstaple gave us a preview of an exciting update that sees the classic sneaker glow under UV light.

The classic all-white AF1 looks unassuming at first, but in the video below you can see it change color as a blacklight hovers over it, glowing the stitching in bold blue and transforming the panels into bright pink and yellow that stay long after the light is switched off. There’s no news on whether this technology is being put into production any time soon, let alone release information, but it’s an interesting update nonetheless on the technology Nike is quietly working on behind the scenes.

Get a look at the incredible kicks below and in the meantime, peep these snake-print Nike Air Force 1s too.
