KAWS Unveils His New Uniqlo UT Collab Featuring 'Companion' & 'BFF'
An official release date has been announced.
UPDATE (May 17, 2019): Having shared multiple teasers on Instagram earlier this week, KAWS and Uniqlo now officially unveil their newest Uniqlo UT collaboration.
The upcoming release comprises of 12 adult T-shirts, six children’s options as well as four bags. The adult T-shirts will retail for $14.90 USD, while the kid’s styles price out at $9.90 USD each.

UPDATE (May 15, 2019): Both KAWS and Uniqlo have taken to Instagram to announce an approximate release date of their newest Uniqlo UT collection. The Summer 2019 drop will be launching in “early June.”
Having offered fans a first look at a range of Companion and BFF-printed tees, the celebrated artist now shares another teaser image featuring a Companion tote bag.

Following up on previous collaborations with Peanuts as well as Sesame Street, KAWS and Uniqlo are joining forces once again for another Uniqlo UT release, this time focusing on the beloved characters created by the Brooklyn-based artist himself.
On his Instagram account, KAWS has posted three teaser videos that allow his followers to preview the upcoming collection. Available in adult as well as kids’ sizing, the co-branded range comprises of a lineup of T-shirts printed with KAWS’ instantly recognizable artwork. In one of the designs, we spotted the Companion holding onto a small, pink BFF. On another style, the tee is printed with an all-over graphic reminiscent of the recent KAWS:HOLIDAY installation that was displayed in Hong Kong.
