Gear up for Summer Days With Nike's Latest Air Max 97

A blue beauty.

Nike has been pumping out releases just in time for summer, ranging from collaborations with Chitose Abe‘s label sacai to seasonal takes on the retro Nike Cortez, and now a new iteration of the classic Air Max 97 is joining the Swoosh’s lineup.

This time around, the silhouette sees an upper covered in a metallic “Nightshade-Blue,” “Spirit Teal” as well as black and white panelling, complete with a white mudguard travelling across the shoe. The classic Air unit sees a translucent blue hue contrasted by a black outsole, and the sneaker is finished off with clean, white laces.

The Nike Air Max 97 in “White/Spirit Teal-Nightshade-Blue Fury” is set to release online at Nike as well as at select retailers on June 15. Take a look at the upcoming colorway in the gallery above, and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
