These Are the Craziest Workouts to Try in London

Disco yoga, trampoline fitness, hula-hoop and more.

If you’ve been getting tired of hitting the gym or your plain old workouts, we’re here to save you. Whether you’re looking to find your new weekly exercise or just try something new, we’ve put together a handful of alternative workouts you can try in London, ranging from disco yoga, trampoline fitness, paddle-board yoga and hula hooping.

Take a look at our list of the best alternative workouts to try in the English capital below, and let us know which workout you’ll be trying.

Disco Yoga

If you hate the slow and peaceful environment of yoga, disco yoga is for you. According to the studio, “Disco Yoga is a brand new yoga class inspired by a new generation of ‘mindful drinkers’ as well as those who simply want fitness to be fun and uplifting! It’s for people who love to train hard and party hard, disco lovers, yoga aficionados and first timers looking for a new way to unwind and socialise.”

There’s no experience necessary to try a class, and each ticket price includes one free post-class “disco themed” cocktail or mocktail.

Price: Each class costs £16 GBP (approximately $20 USD) and can be purchased online.

Flying Fantastic Aerial Yoga

Built on inclusivity, accessibility and community, Flying Fantastic offers training in everything from aerial disciplines to aerial silks and aerial yoga. With four locations across London in Bankside, Battersea, Wimbledon and Old Street, the studio offers classes for both kids as well as adults.

Price: For new members, the studio has a three classes for £45 GBP offer (approximately $56 USD). One class retails at £26 GBP at FlyingFantastic.

Trampoline Fitness

Oxygen Free Jumping is a trampoline park that also offers fitness classes combining fun trampolines with circuits, combat and HIIT fitness to focus on endurance, strength and tension. The dynamic exercise classes are perfect if you love working out in a group, and in the room with 150 connected trampolines there’s no doubt you’ll also have a lot of fun.

Price: £7 GBP per class, or £20 GBP for a 30-day fitness pass at Oxygen Free Jumping.

AquaPhysical Float Fit

If you love paddle boarding and yoga, FloatFit will be the workout of your dreams. The 30 minute long classes take place on water, allowing you to train your balance while participating in a yoga class. The classes offered are “FloatFit HIIT,” “FloatFit BALANCE” and “FloatFit GROW,” with classes offered at various London locations.

Price: Varies depending on your location.

Hula Fit

HulaFit combines hula hooping and exercise at its King Cross studio. The studio offers both a fitness class as well as a class called “Hoop Tricks” where you can learn movements using the prop rather than providing a full intense workout. All abilities are welcome, and you’re guaranteed to get hooked immediately.

Price: £7 GBP (approximately $9.5 USD) at HulaFit.
