An Exclusive Look Inside Gentle Monster x AMBUSH's Pop-Up in Seoul
The immersive space features the collaborative “Zip Tie” sunglasses and more.
Gentle Monster and AMBUSH‘s immersive pop-up space has officially launched in Seoul, Korea. In celebration of their collaborative “Zip Tie” sunglasses, the pop-up features the eyewear style in three different colorways: blue, orange and white.
The co-branded space includes a specially designed area where the sunglasses are displayed. In another area, visitors may find an installation titled Discovery. The artwork symbolizes the fusion of the two brands during the collaboration process. Additionally, a limited-edition T-shirt is available at the pop-up, coming in blue, orange or white. The shirts are exclusively designed by AMBUSH.
When speaking of the collaboration, AMBUSH creative director Yoon Ahn shared:
“The Autumn and Winter 2019 collection by Amber Bush was inspired by David Bowie’s movie The Man on Earth. I wanted to make sunglasses that could express the atmosphere in the movie, but I was able to implement it with a contemporary design with the Gentle Monster. House Tai Sunglasses are for everyone who wants to see the world through a new lens. It’s that new feeling, and I’m looking forward to how people will use it. “
