Embrace Clashing Patterns With Acne Studios' Berton Platform Sneakers
Inspired by ’90s hiking boots.
Acne Studios has really defined Scandinavian style and brought it to mainstream attention over the years, but its latest sneakers are a bit less minimal than the brand’s usual offering. Dubbed the Berton, the trainers are inspired by ’90s hiking boots and feature clashing patterns and logo detailing.
Comprised of a beige suede and mesh upper, the shoes boast tan panels on the lateral side, accented by a speckled heel panel and a dark brown panel that swoops around the front with large Acne Studios text branding. Bringing the hiking vibes to life are the tough yellow and red laces and the metal lace loops at the top of the shoe. Keeping the high-fashion appeal is the holographic patch on the tongue which includes embossed logo branding and of course, there’s the statement sole in a mottled beige finish with purple and green details and a black outsole.
