CELINE Debuts Its Timeless Triomphe Canvas Collection

Following the release of the Vertical Cabas CELINE Triomphe bag, the French luxury goods brand has announced the Triomphe Canvas – part of the CELINE Essentiels collection. The range features a chain bag, a teen Triomphe bag, a small camera bag, a Boston bag, a large Voyage bag, a small drawstring bag, a Folco bag, and a small Folco backpack.
Initially created in 2018 by Hedi Slimane, the Triomphe Canvas is an iteration of the couture house’s historic monogram which first debuted in 1972: a link motif inspired by the chain encircling the Arc de Triomphe. The entire canvas is made out of natural cotton weaves embossed with the iconic monogram and coated in textured hues of black and ocher. The finishings of the pieces are cut in the finest leather – in natural tan or black – and has also been incorporated with saddle stitching.
