Apple Confirms the Dates of Its Next iPhone Event

Find out if all the rumors about upcoming models are true.

After circulating rumors about the iPhone X‘s successor, Apple has finally confirmed that its next iPhone event will be held on September 10 according to The Verge. Taking place at the tech company’s Apple Park headquarters in Cupertino, California, it has yet to be confirmed what the event will be about, but it will most likely include information about what has been referred to as the iPhone Pro and iPhone 11 line.

Leaks have implied that the upcoming mobile devices will feature a triple-camera setup as well as a 6.1-inch display for the iPhone Max equivalent. For the new iteration of the iPhone XR, rumor has it that it will get revamped with a second rear camera and 3D Touch will be swapped out for Haptic Touch.

Another rumor is that the iPhone 11’s base model will include 128 GB of internal storage with the upper tiers featuring 256 GB and 512 GB of storage, which are twice as much as the iPhones on the market now. The cameras may also get upgraded with super wide-angle lenses with 120º field of view.

The official invitations for the private event have already been sent out to Apple’s associated parties, media and industry influencers and leaders. There has yet to be any information about a potential live stream, so stay tuned for more details.
