UPDATE: Zoë Kravitz x YSL Beauty are Dropping a Nude Lipstick from Their Collaboration Tomorrow

UPDATE (August 19, 2019): While YSL Beauty‘s lipstick collaboration with Zoë Kravitz was initially announced to arrive early next month, the star has shared via Instagram a first look at one of the products from the range. Kravitz is pictured wearing a warm, nude lip color, with the caption reading, “Mad shades. Coming soon. #121 Arlene’s Nude drops tomorrow.” According to the post, it seems like one shade out of three different shades will be revealed. Prepare your wallets for tomorrow, as the shade “Arlene’s Nude” is set to drop at YSLBeauty.com.
Following her recent wedding to Karl Glusman, Big Little Lies star Zoë Kravitz has announced an upcoming collaboration with YSL Beauty. Her latest Instagram video shows a boiling pot filled with what seems to be liquified red lipstick along with test tubes filled with pink and red formula, captioned “Me & YSL Beauté! Stay tuned for more, September 1st.”
According to Vogue UK, the partnership will feature six different shades of YSL’s Rouge Pur Couture lipstick, with three red shades and three nude shades in satin, matte and shimmer satin finishes. The products arrive in black packaging inspired by Saint Laurent‘s Niki bag, one of the star’s favorite fashion items. “Rouge Pur Couture is one of my favorite products. The texture is so beautiful. It doesn’t get too dry; it’s not too shiny. It’s kind of perfect,” the star stated.
Kravitz has been the face of YSL Beauty since 2017. “I’ve been working with YSL Beauté for a while now, and I really wanted to get more involved and more creative. This collection is for anyone who wants to be playful; anyone who wants to express themselves,” she added.
