Acne Studios Introduces FW19 Campaign for Its Musubi Bag Collection
Featuring new silhouettes and colorways.
After dropping items like bucket hats this past summer, Swedish brand Acne Studios is now introducing the Fall/Winter 2019 campaign for its Musubi range. Focusing on the new generation, the campaign visuals feature emerging young talents.
“I love it when I see people around the world carrying our Musubi bag. Every time I see the bag now, I think about real people. I wanted to bring this feeling to our new campaign that features the Musubi, by bringing together some real people who excite us, and who tell their stories through the campaign,” creative director Jonny Johansson stated in a press release. Lensed by Richard Burbridge, the campaign is a juxtaposition between raw portraits of the models like Sara Skinner Hiromi with still-life images of the Musubi.
New items rolling out this season is a backpack and bucket bag, along with quilted versions of the Musubi with a shoulder chain strap as well as fluorescent green and orange iterations. Also included in the collection are an oversized shoulder bag, mini bag with a long strap and the Musubi Milli, featuring a top handle and front flap.
