Big Hit Entertainment Is Launching a Global Audition for a New K-Pop Girl Group
You can be the next K-pop star.
If your dream is to become the next K-pop star, here’s your chance. Best known for its mega-successful supergroup BTS, entertainment company Big Hit will be launching a global audition to form a new girl group debuting in 2021.
For those who are unfamiliar, Big Hit Entertainment currently manages two idol teams only – BTS and rising group TOMORROW x TOGETHER. The upcoming band will be the first girl group of the company, fusing global talents together for another major group in the K-pop industry. Titled “Plus Global Audition,” the project will run in collaboration with Source Music, Big Hit’s music label, with the company’s CEO and star producer Si-Hyuk Bang and CBO Hee-Jin Min taking lead.
