An Exclusive Look at Louis Vuitton's Hard-Sided Trunks Preview in Hong Kong
Filled with logo-heavy suitcase, monogram home accessories and more.
Back in March, Louis Vuitton unveiled its prestigious display of its Objets Nomades Collection. Now, the luxury fashion house debuts its Hard-Sided Trunks Preview in Hong Kong. Hosted at a historical site, the former Repulse Bay Hotel, the display was divided into several areas. We recently received an opportunity to preview the exhibit.
The immersive space was partially inspired by the location’s area known as “The Verandah.” This portion of the exhibit consisted of women’s products, men’s products a reading room with a tea and billiards trunks. Additionally, this area consisted of a bar featuring caviar and cigar trunks.
Elsewhere, there was a Chinese tea trunk on display for the first time in Hong Kong. Notably, you’re able to customize material of both the exterior and interior of the Louis Vuitton trunk. As you move throughout the exhibit, you will also come across several pieces with customized Hong Kong-inspired artwork and furniture. In the realm of accessories, a red handbag with a tie-dye pattern is also showcased — this piece is also customizable.
