Glossier Announces Two New Products, the Body Hero Exfoliating Bar and Oil Mist
Expanding the brand’s touchstone Body Hero collection.
Three years after introducing its now-iconic bath products, the Body Hero Daily Oil Wash and Daily Perfecting Cream, Glossier is expanding the signature collection with exfoliating bar soap and spray-on body oil.
The Body Hero Exfoliating Bar is a solid scrub that sloughs away dead skin with finely milled bamboo powder. Moisturizing sunflower seed oil and aloe leaf juice ensure skin never feels stripped or tight. The palm-sized bar even features an oval-shaped groove that can hold one pump of Glossier’s body wash for extra hydration.
The perfect post-shower accompaniment, Body Hero Dry-Touch Oil Mist arrives in a mess-free spray bottle. The non-greasy moisturizer is packed with grapeseed, sunflower seed and oat oil, fragranced with the same Orange Neroli Blossom scent that the entire Body Hero range features. The oil mist and exfoliating bar are sold in recyclable packaging.
Celebrating the two new releases, Glossier has also unveiled a series of “skin portraits.” The intimate photos showcase the bodies of Glossier community members including photographer Tyrell Hampton, curve model Kendra Austin and self-described “Extremely beautiful and perfect double amputee” Sophie Helf.
