Dunkin' Donuts Celebrates Halloween With Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut and DIY Kit

Can you handle the spice?

After releasing pumpkin spice-infused goods for the fall season, Dunkin’ Donuts is now celebrating Halloween with a new Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut and a DIY Decorating Kit. With the latest arrivals, you can challenge yourself to hot donuts or customize your very own.

The former arrives with a classic yeast ring, which is topped with an unexpected spicy strawberry icing. Adding heat, a blend of cayenne, ghost pepper and red sanding sugar finish off the delectable and exciting treat. Meanwhile, gearing up for the spooky season, the food franchise has introduced a donut decorating kit, allowing customers to make their own version with pre-packaged icing and sprinkles in fall-ready colors. Rounding off the release, an additional donut comes with a glazed chocolate MUNCHKINS treat to complete a spider shape.

“Halloween looks a little different this year, and so do our donuts. While our classic bakery offering has plenty of crave-worthy treats, we’re excited to show our spicy side with a donut that packs a touch of heat with something sweet and can be enjoyed any time of day,” Dunkin’ Donuts’ Vice President of Marketing Strategy Jill Nelson shared in a statement. “With our scary-good lineup of the Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut, Halloween DIY Dunkin’ Donut Decorating Kits, and fan-favorite Spider Donut, Dunkin’ is here to help our guests keep their Halloween spirit alive this season.”

The Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut, Halloween DIY Decorating Kit and Spider Donut will be available nationwide for a limited time, while supplies last.

In case you missed it, Starbucks has launched its collection of Halloween goods.
