After initially releasing the track back in late May, rising musician Wolftyla has now dropped a music video for “Butterflies” featuring Jay Park. The soulful tune is accompanied by a series of warm, relaxed scenes.
For those unfamiliar, Wolftyla kicked off her career after going viral on Vine back in 2014. Most recently, the singer took part in “THE BADDEST,” the latest single released by Riot Games‘ virtual pop group K/DA.
In the new visuals, Wolftyla gets dressed in summer-ready looks, singing the collaborative track alongside Korean-American artist Jay Park. Ahead of the premiere, the singer shared some of the inspirations behind the single with HYPEBAE: “‘Butterflies’ is a love story told over a soulful, new-school funk beat. The warm chords and layered harmonies illustrate the fuzzy feeling of ‘butterflies fill up the room’ when you’re around someone who makes you feel good,” she comments. “The inspiration stems from personal growth, prosperity, and allowing the transformation to enable you to then pour that love into others.”
