Nike Goes Minimal With "Every Stitch Considered" Capsule Collection

Featuring functional, elevated basics.

Nike has been at the forefront of innovation for years, with groundbreaking collaborations as well as its in-house lines like ACG and more. Now, the Swoosh is putting focus on its new line dubbed “Every Stitch Considered.”

The “Every Stitch Considered” collection is all about creating genderless garments in neutral tones, focusing on craftsmanship and fit shaped by information derived from body motion studies. Featuring everything from snug parkas to jackets, cardigans and polos, as well as tank tops and tees, the collection features elevated everyday basics. In hues of black and white, the pieces are versatile and easy to wear, with some coming with hidden functions like the jacket with backpack straps, or boasting weather-fighting technology.

“Innovation arrives when you become so familiar with a process that you allow yourself the opportunity to reinvent it. With that in mind, Nike Design Exploration asks us to push the boundaries of the familiar, exploring new territories of creativity and expertise,” said Nike’s VP of apparel design Kurt Parker, adding, “Every Stitch Considered is ultimately a sportswear-inspired lifestyle collection, but our unique understanding of the body in motion, based in decades of scientific study, paired with dedicated old-world Italian craftsmanship, sets these garments apart as distinct, timeless articles.”

Take a look at the collection in the gallery above, and stay tuned as the “Every Stitch Considered” range is set to drop online at Nike on October 26.
