clothsurgeon Returns With New Nike Jacket and Vest Made of Old Waistbands
As part of its sustainble “Reconstructed Project.”
Designer Rav Matharu of clothsurgeon is set to release another innovative, sustainable product this week as part of his “Reconstruction Project.” Following its previous sweatsuit and “Quality Compulsory” face mask crafted from 50 pairs of Nike‘s Fundamental Sweatpants, the London-based brand had leftover waistbands lying around and needed to find a way to make use of them.
Taking reconstruction to the next level, clothsurgeon decided to utilize the unused waistbands to create two new garments featuring neutral shades of navy blue, white and black. The collared jacket comes with a RiRi zip, side pockets and a zip chest pocket for you to store your essentials. As for the utility-style vest, the piece has also been incorporated with a RiRi zip and a front pocket. Peep the styles in the gallery above.
clothsurgeon’s Nike Waistband Jacket and Vest will be available to purchase online on November 5.
