An Official Look at AMBUSH x Converse's Chuck Taylor All Star Duck Boots

UPDATE (November 23, 2020): Following a series of teasers from Yoon, Converse and AMBUSH have finally unveiled full details for the forthcoming Chuck Taylor All Star Duck Boots.
“I believe that there is no distinct line between what is distinctly men’s or women’s in the sneaker world. I designed these pieces to offer functionality and fun, while they carry us into the destination we are heading to every day with ease,” the designer speaks on the partnership, which also includes a set of furry Chuck 70s. As revealed earlier, the footwear – arriving in black and bright blue iterations – is built with focus on utility, spotlighting Converse’s roots as a rubber company more than a century ago. The shoes are made using woven polyester and rubber on the upper, while the ankle collar is constructed with foam padding.

ORIGINAL STORY (October 13, 2020): Earlier this year, Converse tapped AMBUSH to design the DUCKBOOTS and rework its Chuck Taylor All Star. Now, the Yoon Ahn and Verbal-helmed label has announced that it is set to release another collaborative footwear style with the American shoe company.
Introducing the Chuck Rubber Boots, the silhouette is reminiscent of the blue DUCKBOOTS but comes with a more subtle sole. The pair features a monochromatic black colorway, while the heel tab sports the Japanese brand’s signature logo and the number 11 in white for added contrast. No further information has been disclosed yet other than the collection’s official worldwide release date: November 24.
