AMBUSH and Converse Are Ready for Winter With These Fuzzy Chuck 70s

Arriving as part of the duo’s holiday release.

UPDATE (November 23, 2020): Arriving as part of a holiday-themed collection alongside the Chuck Taylor All Star Duck Boots, AMBUSH x Converse‘s fuzzy Chuck 70s have received an official release date. Preparing for the colder seasons, Yoon has dressed the OG silhouette in black and blue Longwool fuzzy material. On-foot shots shared by the designer highlight the chunky size of the high-top shoe. Buried within the plush wool on the upper is Converse’s circular emblem stitched at the ankles.

Take an official look at the kicks above. The AMBUSH x Converse Fuzzy Chuck 70 has already dropped in China, and will be seeing a worldwide release on November 24.

ORIGINAL STORY (October 14, 2020): AMBUSH has announced yet another collaboration with Converse, this time updating the Chuck 70 with a dramatic fur-covered upper.

The high-top sneaker, teased on AMBUSH’s official Instagram account, appears to draw from fur colored ski boots. Available in two colorways, black and blue, the first applies spiky black fur to the entire upper of the Chuck 70 while the second does the same in navy blue and white. Converse’s signature white rubber toe, lateral logo badge and diamond-textured midsole peek through the plush fur.

The AMBUSH x Converse Chuck 70 will release sometime in November. Stay tuned for pricing and an official release date.

In related news, AMBUSH and Converse are also teaming up on Chuck Rubber Boots, an entirely new style.
