Jacquemus Throws It Back to the ’90s in FW20 “L’Année 97” Campaign
Featuring retro gaming consoles, Nokia phones and more.
Following a dreamy Spring/Summer 2021 presentation set in a giant wheat field, Jacquemus has now returned with a new campaign for its Fall/Winter 2020 collection. The ’90s-inspired visuals spotlight the cult-loved label’s suits, handbags and more.
Modeled by actress Laetitia Casta and Simon Porte Jacquemus‘ new puppy Tou Tou, the “L’Année 97” campaign is all about retro style. Casta gets dressed in the brand’s popular items head-to-toe while playing with gaming consoles and an OG Nokia phone. A vending machine is filled with the designer’s purses ranging from the Le Chiquito to Le Bambino bag. In the set of dynamic photos, Casta sports slip dresses, biker shorts and more with yo-yos, Jacquemus-branded ping pong tables, CD players and a pink car serving as props.
