A Closer Look at the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle in Tan and Navy

A new colorway that was previously spotted in the Japanese brand’s Resort 2021 lookbook.

While we’ve received an official look and release date for four other colorways including “Black” and “White/Red,” images of an additional sacai x Nike VaporWaffle sneaker have emerged. Dressed in tan and navy shades, the coveted shoe was previously spotted in the Japanese label’s Resort 2021 lookbook.

A caramel tan hue makes up the base of the kicks, while suede overlays add a seasonal touch to the design. A coordinated color scheme of white and navy is seen on the midsole, disruptive Swooshes and double-laces. Serving as an expansion of the silhouette, the new sneakers also arrive with double-stacked tongues, which sport both Nike Sportswear and sacai’s logos. The rear is adorned with co-branding atop a navy background, while a strip of tan material runs down the middle. Rounding off the look, the bottom layer of the midsole is dressed in a neutral off-white shade.

Take a closer look at the tan and navy iteration of sacai x Nike’s VaporWaffle in the gallery above. The shoes have yet to receive an official release date, but we can expect the design to drop sometime around the end of 2020 or the first quarter of 2021.
