'Demon Slayer' Tamagotchi Is Officially Available for Pre-Order
Raise your very own slayers.
Hit anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is now available as a Tamagotchi. The popular series has been adapted as the egg-shaped pocket game, a staple among kids in the early 2000s.
Decorated with patterns based on the nine Hashira, or elite members of the Demon Slayer Corps, the device allows players to raise their very own slayers. Three mini-games offer training in body conditioning, rock lifting and meditation, while food options including rice bowls and green tea keep characters happy and healthy. “If you neglect training, your Slayer will become injured. If you do not treat the injury yourself, Kakushi will come,” the Tamagotchi product page reads.
Two iterations of the Demon Slayer Tamagotchi are available for pre-order at the Premium Bandai website. According to Sora News 24, additional versions of the special Tamagotchi (seen above) will release on November 16.
