Apple Is Replacing Glitchy iPhone 11 Screens for Free
Some users are experiencing touch sensitivity issues.
Apple has launched a free repair program for iPhone 11 displays affected by a glitch that has left a “small percentage” of devices unresponsive to touch.
Under the company’s iPhone 11 Display Module Replacement Program for Touch Issues, devices manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020 are eligible for free repair. If you’ve already paid for a repair but believe your phone was affected by the touch issue, Apple is fielding refund requests. To claim your complementary touch module replacement, head to the Apple website and enter your phone’s serial number. Keep in mind that iPhones with damage that, “impairs the ability to complete the repair” — such as a cracked screen — will need to be fixed prior to receiving the complimentary service.
