Ease Into Sleep With This Relaxing ASMR Video by Pikachu
The universally-loved Pokémon will keep you company tonight.
Sleeping well has become a challenging task as stress levels rise due to the global climate – some sleep neurologists have even coined the new term “COVID-somnia” to reflect sleep disorders that have developed during the pandemic. To help viewers fall asleep more easily, The Pokémon Company has revealed a new ASMR video featuring Pikachu.
In a 15-minute-long clip, the universally-loved electric creature jumps around to play ball with the viewer. Set in a room with a relaxing breeze blowing through the window, Pikachu runs back and forth, delivering a three-dimensional sound experience when played through a set of headphones. Midway through, the Pokémon takes a nap on the floor, where he snores away and talks in his sleep: “Pika… Pika…”
