For her appearance in Beyoncé’s “Brown Skin Girl.”
Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s eight-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, has been nominated for a Grammy for her part in her mother’s “Brown Skin Girl” track. This makes Blue the second youngest Grammy-nominee in history.
According to New York Daily News, Leah Peasall of The Peasall Sisters was the first youngest nominee, who was also eight at the time. She sang on the musical movie O Brother, Where Art Thou soundtrack, which took home the title of Album of the Year in 2001.
Scheduled to be held on January 31, 2021 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Blue will be nine years old by the time the 63rd Grammy Awards will take place.
