The Nike SB Dunk Low Gets Dressed in Bubblegum Pink
A colorway reportedly inspired by the “Pink Pig” Porsche 917/20.
One of the hottest sneaker silhouettes of the year, Nike‘s Dunk Low is now returning in a new bubblegum pink colorway. The forthcoming design is reportedly inspired by the “Pink Pig” Porsche 917/20, which debuted back in 1971 at the 39th Grand Prix of Endurance.
As suggested by its nickname, the overall design of the shoe reflects the aesthetic of the iconic car. Keeping the original silhouette, the kicks are dressed in pink suede on the upper, with red stitching details adding a touch of contrast. Nike SB‘s logo is printed on the tongue tag, while more branding is found at the heel tab. The overall look is accompanied by black and white on the soles.
