Apple Announces Best Apps of 2020, Including Zoom and Wakeout!

Apple has announced its App Store Best Of 2020 winners, recognizing standout apps for the company’s lineup of devices including iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Unsurprisingly, this year’s winners include a range of apps helping make life in quarantine easier. Apple’s best iPhone app of 2020 is Wakeout!, a handy workout aid that helps transform downtime — such as sitting at a computer — into easy exercise. For iPad, Zoom takes the cake for connecting family and friends while in lockdown while calendar and scheduling program Fantastical wins the award for best Mac app. Disney+ is the top pick for Apple TV and lastly, relaxation app Endel wins in the Apple Watch category. In gaming, titles including Genshin Impact (iPhone), Legends of Runeterra (iPad) and Disco Elysium (Mac) received recognition.
