After several delays, rising rapper Rico Nasty‘s first full-length studio album Nightmare Vacation is finally here. The 16-track debut showcases a new sound for Rico, one she described as “not rock or rap.”

Enlisting several guest stars, Rico shines alongside features from Aminé, Trippie Redd and Gucci Mane. In a recent Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe, she explained that the album is “just about being yourself, your truest self, going through things that people tell you you can’t get out of and getting out of them, coming out a rockstar.” The rapper went on to explain her choice in title: “That’s why I named it Nightmare Vacation because all the shit that I was scared of at one point, scared to do and scared to say, it just became my second nature. I want to say that shit; I don’t care if I hurt somebody’s feelings. I’m going to wear it. I don’t care if I get dirty looks,” she proclaimed.
