Sam Smith Surprises Fans With Announcement of New Album, 'TO DIE FOR'
Its title track drops on Valentine’s Day.
Sam Smith has officially revealed their upcoming third album, TO DIE FOR, with an Instagram post. The news follows Smith’s announcement of a new single, also titled “To Die For,” as well as a London pop-up promoting the track.
Smith discloses the release date of the album in their caption: “Gorgeous people, I’m so happy to see you all so excited about my new song, so I wanted to share another surprise… My THIRD album TO DIE FOR will be yours on May 1st!!!!” The singer continues with a heartfelt dedication reading, “I am more proud of this album than anything I’ve ever done. I’ve really set myself free the last two years whilst writing this and I hope you can dance and relate to these stories. It’s all for you, always xx.”
“To Die For,” the single, drops February 14 along with an accompanying music video at 5 a.m. GMT (12 a.m. EST). Stay tuned as more details on TO DIE FOR, the album, emerge.
