Erdem Taps Home Interior Label de Gournay for Floral Dresses and Wallpapers
Romantic floral patterns just in time for spring.
Following its Fall/Winter 2020 runway earlier this year in London, Erdem has announced a new partnership with handpainted wallpaper company de Gournay for a range of floral dresses and wallpapers. Through their latest project, the two designers have created a romantic collection just in time for spring.
Known for his expression of elegant silhouettes and dreamy designs, Erdem Moralioglu crafted new patterns that are seen in both fashion and home interior along with de Gournay’s signature Chinoiserie wallpaper creations. Flowers including hydrangea, hollyhock, irises, chrysanthemum and morning glory dominate the range, along with sparrows, warblers, pheasant and egrets dispersed throughout. The floral patterns are seen atop navy, white and black backgrounds on Erdem’s dresses, as well as de Gournay’s first-ever designs in “Golden Yellow,” “Adam Grey” and “Kelly Green.”
