Cult Beauty Label Haeckels Just Opened Its First Store in London
Serving up clean beauty products, a treatment room and more.
Beauty brand Haeckels has become a cult favorite amongst skincare enthusiasts, and now the label is opening its first store in London. The new store marks its first expansion from its original store in Margate, and the new space will feature all of Haeckels’ natural and vegan products, and also features a treatment room, event space as well as a “living area” where spirulina is being grown.
With a large focus on community, Haeckels is presenting new initiatives, such as an upcoming soap using waste coffee grinds from a local roastery, and is planning on opening a community ice bath, as well. “Minimalism is dead. The age of greys and muted colours is over. But it’s not the era of opulence. It’s the era of considered thought. It is ok not to conform. To be loud, colourful and creative. The store is a celebration of that. It’s a celebration of local artists and a sustainable way of thinking; of products that were devised and designed to do good and be better. This is where we believe retail is going. This is the store of our future,” said Haeckels about the new retail outpost.
