Virgil Abloh and Jacob & Co. Elevate the Ordinary Paperclip in Their "Office Supplies" Jewelry Collection

Virgil Abloh and Jacob & Co. have teamed up to create a selection of luxe jewelry pieces for their “Office Supplies” collection. Abloh and Jacob & Co.’s founder, Jacob Arabo, have reimagined the ordinary paperclip and transformed it into a contemporary piece of fine jewelry. Abloh said in a press release:
“With jewelry design, not only is technical sophistication important, but also lineage. That’s the foundation for pieces with meaning. Jacob for me has always been innovative, particularly in the notions of merging design sophistication and the pop-culture emanating from the streets. That lineage is the foundation for these new ideas I have designed within fine-jewelry under the moniker of ‘Office Supplies,’ crafted by Jacob & Co.”
Transformed into money clips, bracelets, earrings and necklaces, the items come in 18k yellow, white or rose gold, along with sparkling white and yellow diamonds. Additionally, each paperclip has been engraved with “Office Supplies” to highlight the inspiration behind the range. Take a detailed look at all the designs in gallery above.
