Tokyo Fashion Week FW20 Will All Take Place Online

Paris Fashion Week came to a close just as global concerns regarding the novel coronavirus kicked into high gear and despite the cancellation of numerous events worldwide, designers will still show their Fall/Winter 2020 collections at Tokyo Fashion Week. But instead of holding runway shows in-person, the buzzy event will be livestreamed online through the official Tokyo Fashion Week website.
Though the absence of physical shows is sure to be felt through the lack of front-row celebrity appearances and inspiring street style, designers such as Chanel and Saint Laurent have been livestreaming their shows (often through YouTube) for several seasons.
