Billie Eilish to Launch Her Own Radio Show on Apple Music With Her Father
The debut episode of ‘me & my dad radio’ premieres on May 8.
Billie Eilish has announced that she will be launching her own radio show, me & my dad radio, on Apple Music featuring music and conversations with dad, Patrick O’Connell. The father-daughter duo spoke with the streaming platform’s Zane Lowe on his show and talked about the inspiration behind their new project: “My dad and I have had this relationship over the years of sharing music with each other. My dad has shown me some of my favorite songs in the world and I’ve shown him songs that he loves and adores also,” Billie told Zane. “That was the genesis of this whole show — I’ll play you a bunch of stuff you don’t know that I think is great,” Patrick added.
According to a press release, each episode will include tracks chosen by Billie and Patrick, featuring a diverse selection of genres. After every segment, the full playlists will be available to stream via the music platform. me & my dad radio‘s debut episode premieres on May 8 at 3 p.m. EST exclusively on Apple Music.
