Converse Gives the Chuck 70 Hi & Ox a Sustainable Makeover
Made out of undyed factory scraps.
Continuing its sustainability efforts, Converse has dropped the Chuck 70 Hi and Ox constructed out of undyed factory scraps. The upper of the leather-free sneakers come in 40% virgin cotton and 30% organic cotton. Rough details can be seen along the eyestays, toebox, heel strips, as well as the Hi’s signature collar badge. Finally, the monochromatic shoes boast brown rubber outsoles that have also been made out of recycled material. Take a detailed look at both pairs in the gallery above and below.
The Hi retails for €95 EUR (approximately $103 USD), while the Ox is priced at €89 EUR (approximately $96 USD). You can now cop the Converse Renew Chuck 70 Hi and Ox in “Egret” via retailers like Asphalt Gold.
