Take a Behind-the-Scenes Look at How the Dior Bobby Bag Is Made
A staple purse featuring the house’s signature “30 Montaigne” address branding.
As one of the latest additions to Dior‘s lineup of leather goods, the Bobby bag made its debut with the launch of the house’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection. Giving us a deep dive into the background behind the new accessory, the designer label has now unveiled the process of creating the Bobby.
Designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the half-moon shape purse is named after Monsieur Christian Dior‘s pet dog, Bobby. Crafted in the luxury house’s atelier located in Italy, the timeless design requires a precise and demanding level of craftsmanship. With the “30 Montaigne” address branding stretched across the back, the bag is finished off with a clasp at the front, which is adorned with the iconic “CD” logo.
