Olivier Rousteing Creates Custom Balmain Sneakers For Lollapalooza Paris' Picnic Festival
Proceeds will go to The Global Fund’s COVID-19 response aid.
Lollapalooza Paris has announced that it will be hosting a special event this weekend to support those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In collaboration with Balmain, (RED), Jean Imbert and Veuve Clicquot, the festival’s team is set to host a special Lolla Paris weekend, with an online program to be announced soon.
In compliance with France‘s current social distancing rules, the musical picnic will be held on July 19 at Hippodrome ParisLongchamp. For those interested, you can now purchase your ticket where profits raised from this sale will go to The Global Fund’s COVID-19 Response fund.
In addition to this initiative, Olivier Rousteing has customized five pairs of Balmain’s best-selling sneakers, as well as a selection of collector’s picnic blankets. All of these items will be sold online on the day of the event. According to a press release, proceeds from this will also go to The Global Fund.
