Apple to Reportedly Launch Its Cheapest MacBook Ever

Find out the rumored starting price point here.

Back in June, Apple announced new operating systems for the iPhone, MacBook and iPad during its annual Worldwide Developers Conference. Now, reports state that the tech giant is set to launch the cheapest MacBook model to date.

The Twitter leak reveals that the upcoming 12-inch MacBook with a 5nm 12-core CPU powered by Apple Silicon will be priced at $799 USD – $200 USD less than the current price point of the latest MacBook Air. Additionally, the 13-inch model that features ARM chips with a Touch Bar and a cooling fan will retail for around $1,099 USD.

Apple has yet to confirm the official pricing details of the 12-inch and 13-inch MacBook, so stay tuned while we wait for more updates. In case you missed it, the company has officially delayed the launch of the iPhone 12.
