Afro-Centered Collective Moonshine Unveils SS20 "Partout au Bled" Campaign
Celebrating the vibrant culture of Africa and the Caribbean in the ’90s.
Founded in 2014, Moonshine is a Montréal collective that curates lunar-based events centered around African and electronic music. With the goal to change the city’s nightlife scene, the label also houses its own apparel pieces that celebrate the African and Caribbean diaspora.
For its Spring/Summer 2020 drop, the brand has unveiled its “Partout au Bled” collection inspired by the French-Arabic notion of “bled,” which is a term that translates to village, hood or home. In honor of the African and Caribbean culture in the ’90s, garments in the range boast a bright color palette, along with iconic African references. Take a look at the line’s campaign images by Alexis Belhumeur in the gallery above and video by Epher Heilland down below.
Moonshine’s SS20 “Partout au Bled” collection is now available online, while a special pop-up of the range will be presented in Paris on August 29 at Doc B.
