Bella Hadid and Rosalía Are Hosting Burberry's SS21 Live Show
Together with Erykah Badu and Steve Lacy.
Ahead of its Spring/Summer 2021 show experience later today, Burberry has just revealed that it has tapped talent including Bella Hadid, Rosalía, Steve Lacy and Erykah Badu to host the label’s livestream.
“Burberry’s show will use Twitch’s unique Squad Stream functionality, with the four Burberry hosts simultaneously streaming the show together live. This will provide virtual guests with the ability to view multiple perspectives of the pre-show conversation at once and converse through Twitch’s chat function, creating a personal, inclusive experience,” states the press release, adding that the decision to use the platform comes from the house’s longstanding desire to push the boundaries in digital innovation.
As COVID-19 regulations have made it impossible to host in-person shows, Burberry will be digitally presenting its show at 1 p.m. BST today, September 17, with the livestream panel kicking off at 12:30 p.m. Tune in on Burberry’s channel here.
