Converse Celebrates Latin Heritage Month With "¡Mi Gente!" Capsule
Featuring the Chuck Taylor All Star and Chuck 70 silhouettes.
In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Converse has released a special capsule collection featuring its iconic Chuck Taylor All Star and Chuck 70 sneakers. Additionally, the range includes two ruffle tops available in a bright orange hue and a basic white colorway.
Representing the diversity, duality and vibrancy of the Latinx culture, the Chuck Taylor All Stars boast graphic prints inspired by Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Mexico. The white Chuck 70 arrives in an all-over, color-contrast “¡Mi Gente!” print, which serves as a “call to action and unifying the core beliefs of family and identity within the collection,” according to a press release. In addition to the drop, the footwear label encourages its customers to explore their creativity by designing their own pair with “¡Mi Gente!” By You.
