MUJI Canada Releases Reusable COVID-19 Face Masks

Featuring breathable layers of lightweight cotton for added protection and comfort.

To further help fight the spread of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, MUJI has launched its very own reusable cloth face mask now available in Canada. Arriving in a package of two, the mask is made of three breathable layers of lightweight cotton for added protection and comfort.

MUJI Canada took to Instagram to demonstrate how to clean and dry the cloth piece, explaining that masks should not be bleached or machine washed. To clean the item, simply use MUJI’s gentle cleaners – Mild Moisturizing Face Soap and Light Moisturizing Toning Water – or a neutral detergent and gently submerge it in lukewarm water. Do not rub or scrub the mask against your fingers to avoid fraying. Afterward, rinse and pat the mask dry with a clean towel and hang it in a space that provides good ventilation and shade.

MUJI’s cloth masks retail for $9.90 CAD (approximately $8 USD) a pack, which you can now purchase at all eight locations in Ontario and British Columbia.
