'90s Classic 'The Craft' Is Set to Receive a Sequel

Horror fans, rejoice — ’90s classic The Craft will continue with the release of a sequel, The Craft: Legacy, this Halloween.

The upcoming film will see a new coven of teen witches follow in the footsteps of Nancy Downs, Bonnie Harper, Sarah Bailey and Rachel Zimmermann. Played by Hollywood newcomers Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone and Zoey Luna, The Craft‘s second generation experiments with newfound powers and, as hinted at in a newly unveiled trailer, loses control along the way. Several references to the original movie are peppered throughout the trailer — a photo of Nancy Downs and the classic line, “we are the weirdos, mister,” pay homage to the 1996 film.

The Craft: Legacy releases via on-demand streaming platforms on October 28.
