Frankie Collective Reworks Patagonia Items for Sustainable Collection

Cropped cozy fleece jackets, patchworked sweatpants and more.

Following a set of cozy The North Face skirts, Vancouver-based Frankie Collective is set to return with another collection of repurposed goods. Working with styles from Patagonia this time around, the label is further highlighting sustainability.

“When it comes to brands that put the planet first, Patagonia is at the top of the list,” the brand’s creative director Sara Gourlay shares with HYPEBAE. “Before sustainability was the trend of the moment, they were truly doing the work needed to help the planet.”

Celebrating the outdoor brand’s commitment to the environment dating back to the early ’80s, the range reworks signature pieces like fleece jackets. The Patagonia logo is patched onto a series of cropped tank tops, while pre-loved pieces are patched together to make warm sweatpants and skirts. Jumpers receive a street-ready makeover with shortened hems that are secured with toggle fastening.

Peep the upcoming lineup in the gallery above. Frankie Collective’s reworked Patagonia items will drop online on January 14 at 3 p.m. EST.
