BLACKPINK's Lisa Drops Her First MAC Collection
Color cosmetics inspired by the K-pop star.
UPDATE (November 10, 2021): MAC‘s collaborative makeup line with BLACKPINK‘s Lisa is finally set to drop this week.
“I am so proud of what we’ve created together. I love that MAC gave me the creative freedom to bring my own makeup lineup to life! This is my dream come true,” Lisa comments on her first beauty collection with the cosmetics brand in a press release. “I chose purple and glitter as the main look to give off a modern and glamorous feel. Of course, my signature on the packaging had to be in one of my favorite colors — yellow,” she explains. “But instead of regular yellow, I went with a special fluoro-yellow to represent neon lights that give a cool, hip-hop and urban vibe to the collection.”
The range is comprised of a 12-pan eyeshadow palette featuring coral, pink and gold hues in matte, shimmer and glitter finishes. One of Lisa’s stage makeup go-tos, the Powder Kiss Liquid Lipcolor comes in three new universal shades such as “Rhythm ‘N’ Roses,” “Swoon For Blooms” and “Pink Roses.” Rounding off the line are the Brushstroke 24-hour Liners, Extra Dimension Skinfinish and Powder Blush.

ORIGINAL STORY (October 20, 2021): A MAC Global Brand Ambassador, Lisa of BLACKPINK is finally set to release her first-ever makeup collection with the cosmetics brand. While not much has been revealed yet, MAC took to Instagram to post a sneak peek of what fans can expect from the collaboration.
The K-pop star is seen in blond hair with rose gold shimmering eyeshadow paired with a subtle winged eyeliner. To match the tone of her eyes, Lisa’s lips are covered in a hot pink hue. According to the label, the range will feature “all her favorite products — plus all-new shades inspired by what she loves most.” BLINKS and beauty lovers alike can expect lipsticks, an eyeshadow palette, a highlighter, a blush, eyeliners and more, as teased by @trendmood1.
