Gucci and Microsoft Xbox Reveal Collaboration
Products range from luggage to wireless controllers.
UPDATE (November 12, 2021): Gucci and Microsoft Xbox unveil a selection of products after teasing a collaboration earlier this week.
According to a press release, the collab includes “100 numbered sets, each comprising a custom Xbox Series X console with a GG-pattern laser-engraved, two Xbox wireless controllers in carbon black featuring Gucci’s web stripe in red and blue, complemented by a hard case inspired by Gucci’s archival luggage.”
The Gucci and Xbox set will be available starting on November 17 at select Gucci stores as well as on the fashion brand’s official website. Look through the gallery above to get a sneak peek.
ORIGINAL STORY (November 9, 2021): Gucci and Microsoft Xbox could possibly be joining forces to drop a fashion-related collaboration.
The fashion brand and the video game console company hinted at the upcoming project over Twitter recently. “Saying ‘GG’ at the end of every game will never go out of fashion,” the official Twitter account for Xbox tweeted. “We couldn’t agree more,” Gucci’s official Twitter account replied.
Additionally, Matthew Haag, AKA Nadeshot, who’s also the CEO of 100 Thieves, teased an image of the iconic GG monogram along with a yellow tag, which features both brand’s logos.
Teaming up with Gucci could be a memorable way for Xbox to celebrate its 20-year anniversary, in addition to the livestream being held in their honor on November 15.
